Scholarship Reviewers

 

Reviewing scholarships is a great opportunity to volunteer and impact the next generation of leaders.

 

Rochester Area Foundation awards over $75,000 annually to area high school and college students from scholarship funds established by donors. We rely on volunteers to review applications and make award recommendations.

What can you expect?

  • All scholarship activity occurs in April and May annually
  • Review a minimum of 10 scholarship applications online and evaluate
    them based on a set scoring rubric
  • Attend 2-3 one-hour meetings (via Zoom or in person)
    we will attempt to schedule around volunteer conflicts
