Rochester Nonprofit Consortium
The Rochester Nonprofit Consortium (Consortium) is a large, vibrant network of nonprofit organizations of all sizes and sectors across the Olmsted County area. The Consortium is a program of Rochester Area Foundation and is guided by a leadership team chosen by the full membership.
RELATIONSHIPS
The Consortium is the largest gathering of nonprofits in the Olmsted County area. Members build relationships, share expertise and knowledge, celebrate successes, commiserate shared challenges, and support each other.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Quarterly responsive training on emergent issues affecting membership,office hours with nonprofit professionals,resource sharing, participation in priority area working groups including HR, public policy and fundraising/development.
COLLABORATION
There’s no better place to find someone to team up with on your next grant or program, community event, or other opportunity.
RESOURCE SHARING
Consortium members regularly share and donate meeting space, supplies, materials, and other physical resources.
COMMITMENT TO ACTION TOWARD RACIAL JUSTICE
Commitment to listen, learn, and act to:
- address the policies and practices that influence racism, structural bias and inequity;
- connect to resources, organizations, and best practices to apply a race equity lens; and
- build capacity within our organizations and community to promote social and economic mobility and well-being for all residents.
